IET has recently updated its
electrical regulations, and this new edition of its Electrician's Guide to the
Building Regulations is a great addition to its range. This new edition is a
concise, detailed guide to the regulations, which also includes information on
third-party certification schemes, fire safety, and BS 7671:2018
specifications. The new regulations, which came into effect on 1st January
2019, will replace the 17th Edition. This means that any electrical
installation designed after 31st December 2018 must conform to the new
regulations.
